Actually, I'm talking about my personal style. I've loved looking fashionable for as long as a can remember, but instead of following the paths of the fashion obsessed, I've tried to maintain the balance between fashionable and reality. Though I love strong shoulders, avant garde, and spiky loubou's as much as the next girl, I do realized that these fashions sometimes come across as man repellant to the opposite sex.
Before someone starts of shooting off that I'm anti-individuality or something, let me just say that if I expect my man to avoid mandals and cut-off's like the plague, then it's only fair to give in a little as well. That said, I think most runway trends can be translated into fun and normalized everyday wear.
But wow, can I ever ramble. Back to what I was saying, things that are a staple in my closet are blazers, scarves and earrings (specifically studs). For now, I think I'm somewhere in between girly and retro. I love to look polished, but I also love adding a little quirky-ness to my outfits, hence the retro. Here area few inspirations via the gracious Google Images. I think my style, as of current, is a patchwork of theses ladies...
